NUCMAT automatically creates and maintains General Ledger for each MBA as well as for each Element (U, Pu, Th) of nuclear material (see Fig. 4.4.). Additionally NUCMAT automatically creates General Ledger (main account book) for all categories of uranium (natural, depleted, enriched and standardized). The starting date of General Ledger corresponds to the date of creation of MBA.

By General Ledger the user can track all inventory changes for each individual nuclear material, as well as to get information about integral amounts of elements, fissile isotope as well as total amount of items at a given time point.
Also, using the commands "Begin Inventory" and "End Inventory", the user can open and close, respectively, the material balance period.
